Camera Review - Nikon D90
As one of the worlds leaders in camera manufacturing, Nikon and their new D90 certainly keep pace with their rivals.
When Nikon launches a new digital SLR they tend to be very impressive. Their new Nikon D90 continues this trend and is packed with both great features and technology. Designed as a replacement for the D80, it inherits the 12.3 Megapixels CMOS sensor from the D300 and also features the 3in monitor found on the D3 and the D300.
The D90 camera is suitable for the serious amateur or the semi professional photographer. It can produce 4 frame per second continuous shooting in JPEG or RAW and is also the first DSLR with a movie mode. Movies can be shot in motion jpeg format using the D-movie function.
The viewfinder and the AF system are the same high standard as the D80. Image quality is outstanding with the 12.3 Megapixels CMOS sensor and has a built in cleaning unit and boasts similar image quality to the D300.

The Nikon D90 uses the same battery as the D80, which is at the higher end of the scale and should handle between 700 and 800 shots. The D90 has little to fault it and is worth every cent. The performance of its metering system is to a very high standard.
For anyone who needs to upgrade their digital camera or any person who takes digital
photography serious the D90 will be an excellent buy. If it meets your budget the Nikon D90 will be a very good buy.
