Nikon D700
Camera Review - Nikon D700
If you are looking to buy a full frame Nikon and can’t afford the Nikon D3, the Nikon D700 may be the perfect choice.
The Nikon D700 can be best classed as a combination of Nikons D3 and D300. It has many internal parts of the D3 wrapped in the body of the D300. The D700 is a 12.1-Megapixels full frame DSLR made out of a magnesium alloy. It has a 51 point AF system and built in dust reduction.
Nikon seems to be at the top of their game when it comes image quality. The D700 is a great camera for capturing sharp detail. At the lower ISO settings noise is not visible. It also handles noise very well even at high ISO settings.
The D700 is a great camera for landscape photography as the viewfinder covers one hundred percent of the frame, helping to compose more attractive images. The 700 has three main exposure modes all of which can be selected by using a dial to the right of the viewfinder.
