Nikon D3

Camera Review - Nikon D3
If you are looking for a top of the range digital SLR, the Nikon D3 is one of the few professional cameras that compete with the Canon series.
The D3 is one of the finest digital cameras ever made with excellent image quality and offers a full resolution frame rate of up to 11 frames per second. It also has one of the most accurate AF systems on the market and is perfect for capturing all types of images, though is particularly apt for action shots.
It uses a Sony 36x23.9 mm 12.1Megapixel CMOS sensor that produces super images. Images can be displayed in live view. It has a large three-inch screen that helps with composition and also has a very accurate 51-point AF system.
The D3 ISO sensitivity settings offer many options and it has a standard range between 200 to 6400, which can be enhanced to between 100 to 25,600. Noise is noticeable at the higher settings but produces excellent image quality at the lower ISO setting.
Like all Nikon cameras the D3 is built to last. It has the same strong feel as other Nikon cameras and is manufactured from a magnesium alloy.

The performance of the Nikon D3 is what makes it special. It is Nikons first DSLR camera with a full frame sensor that has a remarkable speed and is one of the fastest cameras with a top continuous speed of up to 11 frames per second. The only negative thing about Nikon’s D3 is its hefty price tag. The D3 will set you back $4500.
