Digital background

I have a nice portrait of my son, except he is sitting on the bed, with pillows in the background, etc.

I want to cut him out and paste him on a digital background so the picture looks more professional, is this possible.

If you are skilled in Photoshop this is possible - if not - you would be better off getting a image restoration company to do this for you.
