Canon EOS 5D MK11
Camera Review - Canon EOS 5D MK11
As a replacement to the Canon 5D the EOS 5D MK11 offers 21.1-megapixel with high speed.
The 21.1-megapixel has a full frame sensor and was a replacement for the ailing, but very popular D5. Its high resolution offers a major improvement and the large three inch screen will be a welcome change. Also on the EOS 5D MK11 is the DIGIC 4 processor, which gives a great boost to its performance.
Following the 5D was never going to be easy but Canon took its time and produced a worthy successor with the 5D M11. The main features of the 5D MK11 are its high resolution and that it can handle 3.9 frames per second. The body is cast out of Magnesium alloy which also seals against dust and moisture.
Also new on this model is a HD video recording system. This is not new to digital SLR as Nikon introduced it first on its D90 model.

Image quality is outstanding with 5D MK11. It produces noise free images between ISO 100 and ISO 1600. Even at the faster setting of ISO 3200 pixel noise is at a minimum. Night photography is very good at fast shutter speeds and the bulb mode will allow you to retain enough light in most scenes.
If you are interested in buying the Canon EOS 5D MK11 you should take note that it has one hundred percent live view, and your Canon lenses may not suit this camera. The lens type suitable for the 5D MK11 is the EF (excluding EF-S) type. You should also note that lenses for 100 percent live view cameras tend to be very expensive.
On a final note the Canon EOS 5D MK11 is an extremely good camera but it has a large price to match its quality. In terms of features it is one of the best cameras on the market.
