Sporting an impressive 12.2-megapixel sensors, Canons EOS 450D is one of the best entry level cameras with a host of features.
The Canon EOS 450D is an entry level digital camera that boasts some features only seen on mid range DSLR. This is the main reason why it makes a very good camera for anyone starting out in digital photography.
It is a solid built camera that handles well and has a decent metering system for its budget price. It also has a 3 inch LCD screen making it easier to work on image composition.
Operating the EOS 450D is straightforward. It has a number of pre-set scene modes that cover most scenes making it easy to use. It also has an A-DEP mode, which is useful for controlling the depth-of-field of an image, which also helps to make the subject sharper and more in focus. It also has a useful nine point AF system.
Other main features include 3.5 frames per second continuous shooting and an output of over 50 JPEGs in one continuous frame bust. It has an impressive 12.2mp sensor that will give you decent size photos and an in built dust reduction that is standard in most Canons.

The Canon EOS 450D employs an EF lens mount that is compatible with both EF and EF-S lenses. If you buy the 450D kit you will get the Canon EF- S 18-55mm lens that has image stabilization. Image quality is very good for an entry level camera with little image noise. Noise is noticeable at ISO 1600 but at a small level. The two main formats for shooting in are JPEG and RAW.
